We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our hypermarket team as a General Cashier. The General Cashier will be responsible for handling cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a balanced cash register at all times.
Count and verify cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Resolve discrepancies in cash balances and report any issues.
Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth checkout process.
Assist with other accounting and financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong numerical and communication skills.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Friendly and positive attitude towards customers and team members.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic accounting.
High school diploma or equivalent.
